Accessibility
Last updated: October 4, 2026
JY Concepts wants Farewell Service to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboards or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- Pages work with a keyboard, with a “Skip to content” link and visible focus outlines.
- Large type, strong contrast in light and dark mode, and buttons at least 48 pixels tall.
- Every hymn, reading, poem and prayer is regular text on the page and works without JavaScript.
- The planner uses standard form controls with labels. Slides work with the keyboard: arrow keys, space, F for full screen and Esc to close.
- Readers’ sheets print at 21 points or larger.
- Animations are turned off if your device is set to reduce motion, and nothing moves in print.
Known limits
The planner and the funeral Mass date checker need JavaScript. Every text can still be read and printed from its own page without it.
