King James Version

  1. 8Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:
  2. 9Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.
  3. 10Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
  4. 11It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
  5. 12If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
  6. 13If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

Douay-Rheims

  1. 8Be mindful that the Lord Jesus Christ is risen again from the dead, of the seed of David, according to my gospel:
  2. 9Wherein I labour even unto bands, as an evildoer. But the word of God is not bound.
  3. 10Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus, with heavenly glory.
  4. 11A faithful saying: for if we be dead with him, we shall live also with him.
  5. 12If we suffer, we shall also reign with him. If we deny him, he will also deny us.
  6. 13If we believe not, he continueth faithful, he cannot deny himself.

Most Catholic parishes in the US read the New American Bible. Read 2 Timothy 2 in the NABRE at usccb.org.
