King James Version

  1. 33And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.
  2. 39And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
  3. 40But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
  4. 41And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
  5. 42And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
  6. 43And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Douay-Rheims

  3. 40But the other answering, rebuked him, saying: Neither dost thou fear God, seeing; thou art under the same condemnation?
  4. 41And we indeed justly: for we receive the due reward of our deeds. But this man hath done no evil.
  5. 42And he said to Jesus: Lord, remember me when thou shalt come into thy kingdom.
  6. 43And Jesus said to him: Amen I say to thee: This day thou shalt be with me in paradise.
